Terms
Terms of Use
Effective October 17, 2026
These terms apply to your use of ForeNav. You remain responsible for every driving decision.
What ForeNav does
ForeNav helps evaluate whether and when a journey should begin, watches that journey decision before departure, and can keep the same journey context while protection is active. ForeNav is not turn-by-turn navigation and does not control your vehicle.
ForeNav resolves places, estimates a driving route to line up weather with your trip, and retrieves a forecast for that route from the Google Weather API. Route data © Google.
ForeNav reads official National Weather Service weather warnings for routes in the United States, not including U.S. territories. It has no official road-closure or road-condition source, and it does not treat missing official information as an all-clear. When automatic checks are enabled, ForeNav rechecks watched journeys before departure. The app shows when checks or notifications are paused. Ordinary unchanged rechecks stay quiet; opening a watched trip does not trigger a new assessment. Choosing Check again requests a new assessment of the same journey. Forecasts and route estimates are uncertain. Use current conditions and official information for driving decisions.
Safety boundary
ForeNav does not promise that a route or journey is safe, that conditions will be avoided, or that an alert will arrive. Do not use ForeNav as an emergency service or as a substitute for official notices, current conditions, road signs, navigation, or your judgment. Follow applicable law and stop using the app whenever doing so would distract you from driving.
Your account and device
Access requires an invitation. Keep your sign-in and device under your control and give ForeNav accurate journey inputs. Do not attempt to disrupt the service or access another person's data.
Guardian and notifications
Guardian runs for an actively protected journey after you grant the required Android permissions. If you turn on Automatic Protection, it also watches in the background for the start of a drive. Ending a journey stops Guardian on this device first; the journey is marked ended on ForeNav's side when the saved end request reaches it. Android, device settings, battery management, network availability, or push notification services may delay or prevent background monitoring or a notification. ForeNav will not claim monitoring is active when its required app-level permissions are unavailable.
Service availability
ForeNav may be unavailable, features may change, and information stored on your device may be lost. ForeNav may pause or end access to address service or security issues.
Information and feedback
The Privacy Policy explains how ForeNav handles information. If you provide feedback, ForeNav may use it to evaluate and improve the product, but you should not include secrets or another person's personal information.
Questions or withdrawal
You can stop using ForeNav at any time. For privacy or account deletion requests, email privacy@forenav.app. See ForeNav Support for request guidance.
